Change in the Supervisory Board and Management Board of ANSMANN AG

Ulrike Unterwandling, daughter of the founder, and Thilo Hack, long-time head of industry, change to chairmanship of the supervisory board and board of directors

Personnel changes at management level

Ulrike Unterwandling (née Ansmann), business economist with a focus on international trade and a member of the Supervisory Board of Ansmann AG for 10 years, took over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ANSMANN AG on January 26.

There are also changes on the Board of Management: Since the beginning of February, the long-standing Head of Industrial Solutions, Thilo Hack, has been the new Chief Sales and Development Officer. Even before joining ANSMANN ten years ago, the 51-year-old gained extensive experience in the international battery market, where he was responsible, among other things, for setting up European trade and development structures for an Asian company. Hack also takes over the area of marketing.

Business economist Markus Fürst, who has been a member of the Board of ANSMANN AG since 2010, will remain responsible for accounting, production and QA, materials management, IT and the Asian subsidiaries. His portfolio is expanded to include the areas of human resources and general administration. From now on, Hack and Fürst form the new board of directors on equal footing. The previous CEO Jürgen Dietz will leave the company.
