Plug-in power supplies, desktop power supplies, USB power supplies.
A plug-in power supply plugs directly into the wall socket, a desktop power supply is usually a bit larger, therefore too heavy for a wall socket. For this reason, it has a cable on both the input and output sides. A USB power supply is available as a plug-in power supply variant, as well as a desktop variant. The difference here is that it does not have a cable on the output side, like the usual power supplies, but a USB socket.
