Mobile energy as 100,000 euros in kind donation for the flood areas in NRW

ANSMANN AG supports flood disaster relief with extensive supply of power banks, flashlights and batteries

ANSMANN sends power banks and flashlights to disaster areas in NRW

(Main-Tauber Kreis, 26.07.2021) The medium-sized family business ANSMANN AG sent 6,200 power banks, 700 flashlights and 3,000 batteries to North Rhine-Westphalia last week as an aid delivery for the affected flood areas. The aid delivery to a central collection point in the flood crisis area in NRW from Assamstadt in Baden-Württemberg has a sales value of around 100,000 euros. The aid was requested via the CDU's sports policy spokesperson in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament, Jens-Peter Nettekoven. His request was brought to the Assamstadt battery and battery technology experts by a business partner there.

Ansmann flashlights, power banks and batteries are intended both for aid workers and for those affected who are without electricity or have only limited access. Electricity and access to electricity are severely affected in flood crisis areas. Mobile energy in the form of robust electronic devices and storage media is therefore urgently needed.

“We are very pleased that, thanks to the initiative of MdL Jens-Peter Nettekoven, we can do our part to overcome this indescribable flood disaster. ”
