Relief campaign for people on the run
“To create freedom in a mobile world and to shape a sustainable future.” According to this motto, we at ANSMANN develop products that make life easier. It was therefore no question for us to support the relief campaign initiated by our partner Swobbee for people fleeing from the Russian government's devastating war of aggression.
Swobbee CEO Thomas Duscha was born and raised just a few kilometers from the Ukrainian border in the Polish town of Tomaszów Lubelski; his grandfather came from Lviv in western Ukraine. Thanks to his good contacts with the mayor of the city of Tomaszów Lubelski, we knew that flashlights, power banks and batteries in particular were urgently needed locally.
We responded immediately and provided 5,000 flashlights, 500 power banks and thousands of batteries. With further donations, they were brought to the Ukrainian border as early as March 11 in a convoy organized by Swobbee and Onomotion.
