Awarded TOP100 three years in a row

We've done it again! For the third time in a row, ANSMANN has received the coveted Top 100 seal — an award that recognizes our innovative thinking and future-oriented strategy. But what is behind this success? A look at our current projects shows that we are actively shaping the future of mobile energy supply with creative solutions and sustainable innovations.

Innovation at the core of our strategy

A central component of our success is the consistent development of innovative projects. One outstanding example is our planned cooperation with Chemnitz University of Technology to develop a new process for battery packs. Our goal is to enable individual cells to be replaced and thus extend the life of batteries and save resources. This is an important step towards sustainable product development.

In parallel, we are pushing ahead with our “Smart Battery” project, which was launched in 2022. By integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology, our battery packs are connected to a cloud platform that continuously analyses life cycle data. This intelligent technology not only enables more efficient use of batteries, but also paves the way for new, data-driven business models.

Generative AI increases our efficiency

Another component of our innovation strategy is the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI). Whether in accounting for automated invoice processing or in production for quality control using AI-based image processing — these technologies increase our efficiency and ensure maximum precision.

Our board member Markus Fürst emphasizes:

Recognition by the TOP100 seal

The Top 100 award is the result of a scientifically based selection process carried out by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. More than 100 criteria were assessed in five categories:

• Innovation-promoting top management
• Innovation climate
• Innovative processes and organization
• external orientation/open innovation
• Innovation success

The fact that we are once again among the prize winners shows that we are constantly driving innovation forward. On June 27, 2025, the awards ceremony will take place at the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz as part of the German SME Summit, at which Ranga Yogeshwar will personally congratulate the winners.

We will remain true to our mission in the future: to revolutionize mobile energy supply with sustainable innovations. Once again being named a Top 100 Innovator is a well-deserved recognition of our strategy — and at the same time an incentive to continue setting new standards.
