CMT 2026: New brand "At the top of the south" puts our region in the spotlight
At the "Im Süden ganz oben" brand's promotional day at CMT 2026, we got an idea of a project that also affects our region.

As part of the CMT in Stuttgart, a promotional day was held for the new tourism brand "Im Süden ganz oben" . As this initiative also affects our home region, we took advantage of the trade fair day to get a personal impression on site.
Our CEO Thilo Hack accepted the invitation from District Administrator Christoph Schauder and visited the trade fair together with Joachim Döffinger, Mayor of Assamstadt, to find out more about the content, goals, and orientation of the new umbrella brand.
What is behind "At the top in the south"?
The brand "Im Süden ganz oben" (At the top of the south) was created to bundle several regions in northern Baden-Württemberg under a common tourism brand, including the lovely Tauber Valley. The aim is to raise awareness of the diversity of these regions and position them as attractive vacation and leisure destinations.
Topics include:
- Cycling and hiking tourism
- Nature and cultural experiences
- Culinary delights, wine, and regional offerings
- Camping and short breaks
These focal points are also characteristic of our region and play an important role in its tourism development.
Exchange, impressions, and regional relevance
The exhibition stand provided an opportunity to talk to those responsible and gain insights into the planned communication and positioning of the brand. It became clear how strongly the focus is on authentic, regional experiences—an approach that fits well with the strengths of the Tauber Valley.
The high level of popularity among trade fair visitors also showed that interest in nature-oriented, regionally influenced travel destinations continues to grow.
Our conclusion
The action day at the CMT was a great opportunity to learn about a project that directly affects our region. Initiatives like this can help raise the profile of northern Baden-Württemberg as a whole and strengthen regional tourism in the long term.
