An important milestone on our sustainability journey
At ANSMANN, sustainability is not just a requirement — it is an integral part of what we do. The nomination for German Sustainability Award 2026 confirms our course. We focus on continuous improvement in the areas Environmental protection, supply chain, product stewardship and packaging.
What we have already achieved
Our progress is measurable:
- 10% less pollutants in our core product lines
- Over 75% of tier 1 suppliers were trained in sustainability and compliance
- 70% of new products go through an internal sustainability assessment
- 18% more sales of rechargeable batteries compared to the previous year
Our goal in the area wrapping Is it, by the end of 2026 completely on recyclable monomaterials to convert. We are already avoiding plastic inserts, using digital operating instructions and reducing packaging volumes to reduce waste and emissions. In addition, 50% of lead-acid batteries delivered in the B2B sector.
Show sustainability — internally and externally
As a sign of our commitment, we will integrate the German Sustainability Award seal into our company presentations and email signatures in the future. In doing so, we make visible what we stand for: Take responsibility — for people, the environment and future generations.
