Privacy / Analysis Services
II Access data / server log files
The provider (its webspace provider, respectively) collects data of each access to the offer (so-called server log files). Access data include: names of the pages and files requested at this website, date and time of the request, transferred data volume, report on successful access, type of browser and browser version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited website), IP address and the internet access provider. This data is analyzed solely for statistical purposes and to help us maintain and optimize our website. The provider, however, reserves the right to check the log files later on, should concrete evidence arise indicating a manner that shows the perpetration of illegal use.
III Processing of personal data
Personal data is information that helps to identify a person. This may include the person’s name, their Email address and phone number. It may further include data about hobbies, memberships or specifically visited web pages.
The provider will only collect, use or share personal data, if permissible by law and if the user has consented to the collection of the data.
When contacting the provider (for example, by Email or contact form) user data is stored for the further processing of your request and that for case of follow-up questions.
When accessing the website, cookies will be stored on the user’s computer. Cookies are small pieces of data that help to explicitly identify your browser. Using cookies, the provider enhances comfort and quality of its services by, for example, storing user settings. Cookies do not damage the user’s computer and do not contain viruses.
b) Use of Facebook Social Plugins
This website uses social plugins, e.g. the “like” button, from the social networking site facebook.com. These plugins are operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins can be identified from one of the Facebook logos (a white “f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign), or the provider has specially marked them “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list of Facebook Social Plugins and what they look like can be viewed on Facebook at developers.facebook.com/plugins.
If a user accesses a page of this website that contains one of these plugins, its internet browser connects directly with the Facebook servers. Facebook sends the content of the plugins directly to the user’s browser and back. Since the provider has absolutely no control over the amount of data that Facebook collects with the help of these plugins, the provider would like to share their latest knowledge with the user:
The plugins that are incorporated mean that Facebook receives notification that the user has called up the corresponding page on our website. If the user is logged in on Facebook at the same time, Facebook can allocate the visit to the user’s personal Facebook account. If the user interacts with the plugins, such as by pressing the “like” button or posting a comment, that information is immediately transmitted by the browser directly to Facebook, where it is saved. If the user is not using Facebook, the service can still collect and store the IP address. More information on how much data is collected and why, and how it is then processed and used by Facebook, as well as details about the users’ rights and the settings available for protecting users’ privacy, can be obtained from Facebook’s data protection policy at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
If a user has signed up to Facebook but does not want Facebook to collect data via the website and link it up with the data stored on Facebook, it must log off Facebook before visiting our website.
As well, a user can block Facebook social plugins using browser add-ons like, for example, "Facebook Blocker".
Twitter functions may also be integrated into this website. Twitter functions are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. These features are identified with such words as "Twitter" or "Follow"/"Re-Tweet" together with the icon of a blue bird. By using these functions, you can share a contribution or a page of this offer on Twitter or follow the provider on Twitter, if you have your own Twitter account. The websites you have visited are then linked to your Twitter account and announced to other Twitter users. This involves transmitting data to Twitter.
As a provider of websites that host these functions, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transferred to and used by Twitter. Please visit http://twitter.com/privacy for further information about Twitter's data protection and privacy declaration. You can change your privacy preferences at Twitter in your account settings at http://twitter.com/account/settings.
V Disclaimer, alteration, correction and actualization
The user is entitled to be informed on request about the personal data that is stored about it. Additionally, the user can initiate for incorrect data to be updated and for its personal data to be locked or deleted, if not prohibited by law.
