New EuP conform universal power supplies
To protect the evironment, the European Union lately has passed the EuP (Energy using Products) directive 2005/32/EC. This directive forces the manufacturers of electric and electronic products to keep within certain efficiency levels.
The directive is in force from April 27th 2010. ANSMANN already has devices, for example the new APS power supply series, which are complying with these rules.
