NiCad discharging

Discharge batteries within -20C and +65C temperatures. Do not discharge batteries outside of these temperatures as the performance of the cell will deteriorate and less capacity will be obtained.

Do not over discharge the battery. Take the battery out of the equipment or put it on charge as the cells will get damaged when faced with such a condition.

When cells/ batteries are discharged at high currents, heat is produced and it can lead to decreased discharging efficiency. Consult ANSMANN before attempting to discharge above 2C rate.
