NiMH maxE Batterypacks - It must not be Lithium everytime...
ANSMANN’s business unit also designs and produces customer-specific battery packs composed of our successful NiMH maxE cells.
maxE cells have a very low self-discharge comparable to that of Lithium-Ion battery packs. It is 10 times lower than that of standard NiMH rechargeable batteries and thus they still hold 85% of the initial capacity one year after charging. All other characteristics are on the high level of established high-performance accumulators: high current capable, long-living, very low internal resistance.
Since maxE cells are NiMH batteries, the expensive dangerous goods tests that are required for lithium-ion battery packs can be omitted. Also you don´t need the safety board for the battery packs.
Furthermore ANSMANN will customize it's maxE battery packs to the wide range of different customer requirements.
