Connection systems
PRIMARY PLUG SET
ANSMANN plug in and desktop power supplies and battery chargers normally allow a wide input voltage range from 100-240 V AC.
Because of the ANSMANN changeable primary plug system the plug-in devices are ready for worldwide use without the need for any additional adaptors. The desktop devices are usually provided with an IEC320 connector as standard. This means that the specific power cord can be easily connected. In addition to the high flexibility of these systems they will also reduce logistic requirements and therefore costs.
SECONDARY PLUG SYSTEM
Most of our standard units have an output plug receptacle socket that includes polarity selection ready for the insertion of one of the many available output plugs within the ANSMANN Secondary plug system.
This range includes most of the commonly used hollow plugs and phono jacks and the 2 pole Texas connector with self-cleaning contacts. In addition there is a wide range of various connectors offered from many different manufacturers.
